This is full time, federal, civilian employment.  See federal employee benefits.  You are on full salary during all phases of the Fellows program, including any training assignments.

This is a new, fast-track program designed to develop the civilian leaders of a  multi-functional, multi-skilled workforce of the 21st century AMC.

It includes a Graduate School Opportunity.

 A signing bonus of up to 25% (Approximately $5100 after taxes - paid about 2 months after start of program) may be offered for new government employees.

 AMC is the US Army Materiel Command-charged with the vital mission of sustaining our Army’s readiness.   To learn more about what this involves, take a look at the "more on AMC" web page or visit the AMC web site.   During the five years of the program you will experience a mix of on-the-job assignments, training courses and graduate school.  You will be exposed to a wide range of AMC's operations through a program of rotational assignments.  You will then be ready to assume key positions within AMC.

You will not be stuck in a stovepipe, learning one type of job.  You will acquire the capability and flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks and functions.   You will become part of an agile, integrative and mobile cadre of future leaders for AMC -  adept and focused on new business processes, new initiatives, and ready to face the challenges of the future.

Your graduate education will take place during the first two years.  AMC  pays for tuition and books for your graduate course work.

Moving costs-mileage and household goods, and travel costs are paid (except your first move).

We are actively recruiting those who:

have graduated or will soon graduate with a Bachelor's degree. Preferred undergraduate majors for the program include: Accounting, Biology, Business, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Systems Analysis, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Management, Management Information Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Marketing Management, Materials Engineering, Materials Management, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Psychology, Political Science, Quality Control Engineering, Safety Engineering, and Statistics.  Coursework for any major must include a non-survey statistics course or a course(s) in calculus.

have an undergraduate GPA 3.45 or above (or top 10% of class)

are mobile, willing to move around and take on new and diverse challenges.
